I’ve had a very windy path in life, with a heavy international upbringing.

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia to an Indonesian mother and Indian dad. Then, I had the privilege of growing up in multiple countries, and speding most of my formative years in Shanghai, China. That was where I discovered my passions for design, technology, music, and art.

When I graduated high school, I packed 2 suitcases and moved to the US to study Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Washington. A mix of hard work, persistence, passion, and luck then brought me to Silicon Valley, where I worked as a product designer for 2 large B2B tech companies for 6 years.

The pandemic turned my world upside down and made me question my values and what I really want out of life. It brought me to a decision to leave the US and move to Dubai, UAE. That’s where I live now!

The ups and downs of my life experiences taught me one incredibly valuable and unique ability - that is to understand people at a deeply cultural level. Exposure to all kinds of cultures and languages has given me an incredible advantage to comprehend nuances, mindsets, and behaviors. Almost like a birds eye, holistic view of human nature. This has become the core part of my identity as a designer.
